FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WHAT DO I NEED TO SUPPLY FOR OVERNIGHT BOARDING?

I ask that you bring the correct quantity of food required for every meal for the duration of the stay, a bed for your dog, and any favourite toys they might have.

MY DOG HAS A SPECIAL DIET. CAN THEIR NEEDS BE ACCOMMODATED?

Yes, of course! Each dog eats what you have provided, in the quantity you require. Any additional meal supplements, medication, or dietary requirements will be administered at your request.

HOW CAN I CHECK ON MY DOG DURING THEIR STAY?

I will be sure to send you lots of video and photo updates during your dog's stay and will be more than happy to answer any questions or queries you may have.

MY DOG IS NERVOUS AROUND OTHER DOGS, WILL YOU BE ABLE TO WALK HIM/HER?

Yes, I'll certainly try. If your dog is wary around other dogs one of the biggest benefits of group dog walking is how much it can improve your dog’s socialisation. If your dog is nervous, but non-aggressive, I will slowly introduce him/ her to an appropriate group of friendly dogs. It is amazing how quickly dogs gain confidence and settle into group walks with a little support and encouragement.

DO I NEED TO BE HOME FOR YOU TO COLLECT AND WALK MY DOG?

No, the majority of my clients are happy for me to hold keys for them, which enables me to collect and drop off your dog while you’re not at home. All keys are kept in a secure location.

CAN I SPECIFY A PARTICULAR TIME FOR MY DOG TO BE WALKED?

Mid-week group walks generally start at either 10.00 am or 1.30 pm, though pick-ups and drop-offs may be a little earlier or later. This can depend on a variety of things from the dogs on a particular day, traffic conditions, weather, and so forth.  I can never pinpoint the exact time but endeavour to walk as near to any requested time as possible. However, please contact me to discuss your particular requirements and I’ll do my best to fit in with your needs.
